Layna manages LegUp, a library-based workforce development program in Tennessee. In her current role she supports entry-level job seekers as they make their way through job-readiness training and works closely with local librarians as they embrace the role of career navigator. Before joining the Bendable Labs team, Layna spent two years working as an editorial assistant for Bendable, the lifelong learning and work development platform created at the Drucker Institute. She then became editorial director, collecting stories of Bendable users and their experiences as lifelong learners. She was also responsible for maintaining the platform’s tone and style. Outside of work, she is a passionate (albeit amateur) cook, creative writer and lover of the outdoors.
